Memes, memes, and more memes, they’re all over social media. They have given us laughs may it be satire political humor or pure baby boomer jokes that talk about how f-ed up marriage life is. But there’s this one humour that baffled the Millenials and baby boomers, Gen-z’s surreal memes. We’re all aware that technology and the virtual world have brought a significant influence in this current generation, re-shaping our perspectives and expressing ourselves into the world of the internet.

The older generations might find it strange that the gen-z’s memes consist of nihilistic and depressing elements and other objects that do not even make sense. But trust me, the weirdness of the memes made them ROFLMAO-ing (rolling on the floor, laughing my a*s off). Aside from the oddness, it has a hidden message. May it be climate change or the dark side of capitalism. Sure, baby boomers may assume that the current generation’s youth don’t know what’s happening in their surroundings because they’re on their phones 24/7.
